Dunbar High School Class of 1998 Alumni Association Grants & Scholarship Program

Our grants and scholarship program provide valuable financial assistance to students and teachers seeking to further their education or to assist teachers with the cost of educating students, or a specific goal. These programs can make education more accessible and affordable for students who may not have the means to pay for tuition and other expenses on their own. By awarding funds based on merit, need, or a combination of both, grants and scholarships help support the academic and professional success of students at Dunbar High School.

Our grants and scholarship program offers crucial financial support to both students and teachers, enabling them to pursue further education and enhance their academic journey. For students, these programs make education more accessible and affordable by alleviating the financial burden of tuition and related expenses. For teachers, they provide assistance with the costs associated with educating students or achieving specific professional goals. By awarding funds based on merit, need, or a combination of both, our grants and scholarships play a key role in fostering academic and professional success at Dunbar High School.

Dunbar High School Class of 1998 Alumni Association Teacher's Grant Program

The Dunbar High School Class of 1998 Alumni Association’s inaugural giving program is the Dunbar Teacher’s Grant. Recognizing the unwavering dedication of our educators and their commitment to providing the best learning experience for our students, we understand that teachers often dip into their own pockets to enhance classroom resources and offer incentives.

Our Teacher’s Grant Program aims to make a meaningful impact by providing small grants ranging from $50 to $200 to Dunbar High School teachers. These grants are designed to be flexible, allowing teachers the freedom to allocate funds where they are needed most, whether it’s for classroom supplies, innovative teaching tools, or special projects that enrich the educational experience.

We acknowledge the tremendous efforts of our teachers and aspire to support them in their mission to create an inspiring and nurturing learning environment. By offering these grants, we hope to alleviate some of the financial burden on teachers and contribute to the overall success and well-being of Dunbar students.

Join us in fostering a community of support for our dedicated educators and in empowering them to continue making a positive impact on the lives of our students. Together, we can make a difference, one classroom at a time.
