In service to our alma mater and as a devoted ally and advocate for Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, the Dunbar Class of ’98 Alumni Association endeavors to nurture a sense of loyalty among the graduates of 1998 from Dunbar (Classmates) and other alumni. To realize our mission, the Class of 1998 Alumni Association commits to:

The Dunbar High School Class of 1998 Alumni Association’s inaugural giving program is the Dunbar Teacher’s Grant. Recognizing the unwavering dedication of our educators and their commitment to providing the best learning experience for our students, we understand that teachers often dip into their own pockets to enhance classroom resources and offer incentives.

Dunbar High School Class of 1998 Alumni Association Annual School Award.  As part of our ongoing commitment to the success and growth of Dunbar High School, the Dunbar Class of 1998 Alumni Association is thrilled to introduce the Annual School Award, set to be presented every spring, starting in 2026. This award is our way of expressing gratitude to Dunbar and supporting the school in its mission to provide an exceptional learning environment. The funds from the Annual School Award will be dedicated to purposes identified by the principal, faculty, and staff,
